When Earth is attacked by a mysterious force, decimating the atmosphere and causing society's collapse, Aaron Zipper Armstrong, a young orphan, discovers that he is a time traveler sent from the past to protect the planet.
Now he and his friends must venture into the abandoned, frozen ruins of what once was the great city of Los Angeles to find a serum which will restore the mystical powers of his people to him.
Pursued by a violent albino tyrant with enigmatic powers over the minds of men and the laws of physics (and an agenda of his own), Zipper and his team will have to contend with the perils of this new Earth as they forge violent storms capable of stripping flesh straight from the bone, outrace diseased, cannibalistic scavengers, and navigate mammoth icefalls.
Perhaps most challenging of all, however, they will have to contend with one another.
That is until they reach the city, which turns out not to be so abandoned after all....
Eye of Chimera is an original fantasy currently seeking the right publisher. It is also available as a screenplay.
